Sleepfy Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 23, 2026

Sleepfy is a sleep tracking app made by Alejandro Gutierrez, based in Madrid, Spain. This policy explains, in plain language, what data Sleepfy uses, where it lives, and what your choices are. The short version: your sleep data stays on your device and in your own iCloud. We don't run servers that store your personal data, we don't sell data, and we don't show ads.

1. What data Sleepfy uses

2. Where your data lives

Your sleep data is stored on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced to your private iCloud database so it appears on your other devices and survives reinstalling the app. That iCloud data is encrypted by Apple, tied to your Apple ID, and counts towards your own iCloud storage โ€” we cannot access or read it. Sleepfy has no user accounts and no servers of its own that store your sleep data.

You control this from iOS, not from us: Settings โ†’ your name โ†’ iCloud lists Sleepfy alongside your other apps, where you can switch its sync off or delete what it has stored. See section 5.

3. The third parties involved (there are only two)

Apple โ€” processes payments, hosts your private iCloud sync, and provides Apple Health. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

RevenueCat โ€” manages our subscriptions. When you view the paywall or subscribe, RevenueCat receives an anonymous random identifier, your purchase receipt, device type, and IP address. It also receives one answer from setup: where you told us you found Sleepfy (App Store search, TikTok, a friend, and so on), which tells us where to spend our time. It never receives your name, your age, your sleep data, or your health data โ€” the rest of what setup asks stays on your phone. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

That's the whole list โ€” no ad networks, no data brokers, and no tracking of you across other apps or websites. RevenueCat processes the purchase data above to run and analyze our subscriptions.

4. Notifications and alarms

Bedtime reminders and trial reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Your wake alarm is scheduled with iOS's own alarm system, so it can ring at full volume even on Silent or in a Focus mode. Neither involves a server, and neither sends anything off your device.

5. Deleting your data

6. Legal basis and your rights

Legal basis (EU/EEA). Where GDPR applies, we process your data to provide the app and the features you use (to perform our agreement with you), and โ€” for optional device permissions like Apple Health and the microphone โ€” on the basis of the consent you grant in iOS, which you can withdraw at any time.

Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA under GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because your data lives on your device and your iCloud, you can exercise most of these rights directly. For anything else, email us and we'll help: sleepfyapp@gmail.com. If you're in the EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Children

Sleepfy is age-rated 12+/13+ on the App Store (the exact rating shown depends on your country or region) and is not directed at young children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Not a medical device

Sleepfy provides wellness information to help you understand your sleep. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. For medical concerns, talk to a doctor.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be highlighted in the app.
